Better than a Baby Shower!

So I got a call from B this afternoon. He says " I ran into Jerry at work today. He says him and Chrissy are going on a date tonight NO KIDS and wanted to know if we would like to come and make it a double date." They did some talking, called Chrissy, according to her the sitter for her kids was willing to keep ours too. Score! I was all for it. So I got kids all ready and got some clothes together for B and headed for Chrissy's house. I have so been had! This was all part of an elaborate scheme to get me and kids to show up at Chrissy's unaware that our friend Tamara had driven her and her two boys 14 hours down from Utah to see us! I walked into Chrissy's house prepared to discuss who the sitter was and what details needed to be dealt with and was met with Tamara sitting on the couch as if she has lived here all along.....WTH??? :) I was definitely shocked. Beyond shocked, even. When we left tonight after having gone to dinner and gone shopping for a bit with her, I was still trying to decide if it was real! I was anxious for this child to be born before today. I can't describe how badly I want to have it before Sunday (when they have to head home) now! Wow! I'm so happy to see them and her kids have grown sooo much since last May that I just wanted to hug them over and over again! It was a very emotional thing for me....but I didn't cry! I'm so proud of myself!
