False Alarm : (

Well, today was interesting. I enrolled the boys in a Big Brothers class at the hospital and it was today at 10am. I woke up at 530 this morning with the WORST case of heartburn I have ever had....including the course of both of my other pregnancies. But we paid for this class and we had a cub scout outing we had to make it to so I dealt with it. We got boys ready and to the class on time. I tried milk and Zantac on the way. Neither worked. We sat through most of the class and I was having contractions and some severe pain from heartburn as well. So, I told B we needed to go to Labor and Delivery and get it all checked out. We went and got checked in and they hooked me up to monitors. My contractions were not strong enough or close enough to cause them concern so I got the boot. : ( Before sending me on my way, they gave me this concoction for the heartburn. The foulest tasting mixture I have tasted in YEARS! It made my tongue go numb and made my head spin for almost an hour....but it worked wonders in less than 10 minutes! I would so pay mega bucks for a gallon of that awful stuff!
So, now it's back to the waiting game. The contractions are still happening but without the heartburn, they are so much more tolerable. I just need them to get regular again so we can get back in there and have this baby!

Having a scheduled c-section I never experienced this and all I can say is Thank God. I feel terrible for you and have my fingers crossed #3 makes an appearance sooner than later. Remember to stay calm and enjoy these last few...um whatever they are...because your would will turn upside down when #3 is here. It will be marvelious but different. Good luck girl, I send you my good luck vibes...hmmm, mmmmm, hmmm, BAM! Feeling better? No? Well I tried.
