37 Weeks!!!

This is it folks! Today is the last day of charted territory for me as a pregnant woman. A was born at this point. Unfortunately, according to doc, I probably won't make it much further. I am 2 1/2 cm dialated and where I wasn't thinned out at all last week, now I'm 70%. Baby is at -2 station as well. We are ready to have this kid!
From the beginning of this pregnancy, I have felt very strongly about making it as close as we can to 40 weeks and have had lots of anxiety issues over whether or not the baby will be healthy. Maybe because we have made it so far, maybe because I have finally come to terms with whatever will be will be.....but I feel totally calm and confident about the strong possibility of not making it through the weekend. If we do, then I guess we do! I am just so excited that we will meet this baby soon and I will finally be able to hold it in my arms and get to know it and start watching the wonderful journey of it's growth!
