Weekend Life

So, a week ago T had a really gross head cold. He got over it by about Wednesday or Thursday. Saturday morning, we had plans to go to the Pinewood Derby/Pack meeting for Cub Scouts. A woke up totally miserably sick. Sore throat...the works. Since he had a few major parts to the opening ceremony, we still had to go. By the end of the day, T was the only one with no sign of being sick. B and I both had either sinus issues or sore throat and A was coughing and sneezing. Yuck! It made for a very grumpy family by the time Sunday rolled around. :( Monday, B had to go to work for a meeting, so he didn't call in. T was still fine so he went to school. A and I spent the day resting and cuddling. Tuesday, A was a little better with no sign of fever or the soreness in his throat so he went to school. I was feeling a little better as well, but am still sneezing and coughing. Double Yuck!

On the bright side, we made a stop into Babies R Us on Saturday to check out the new selection of cribs and dressers they had told us they would have. We came home with a 4 in 1 Lifetime crib and a pretty decent dresser! I was sooo excited to have finally found a matching set we both like! On Sunday, I had to step out to the store for some things. I went to Target, where we had both agreed on a stroller previously. While I was there, I decided to buy it! I'm so happy to finally be buying all the stuff we need for the baby! I can't wait until we put it all together and set up the actual nursery! It will be kind of a relief to be able to see it all in there and know that things are moving along. This Saturday marks the final 10 weeks of the pregnancy and I have been getting quite impatient lately. I know there is still a while left, but I am just ready to hold this child and love it and to finally meet the piece I have felt missing from this family for so long!
