Mount Lemmon

T's cub scout group planned an awesome 6 mile hike for last Saturday. It was supposed to end in a camping night but they had to cancel that because night temps have been getting to the low 30's. They kept on with the hiking plan and the boys had a blast! T was absolutely amazed that as dry as life is down here, there is a waterfall on the mountain. He just loved that! B and T left at 830 and came home completely exhausted around 4pm. Other than a little windburn on their cheeks, all went so well that T was ready to do it again this weekend...No, that's okay. B has never actually enjoyed hiking so once was enough for him. He did put a smile on it all for T, of course. :)

Look how little my boy looks!

The boys were actually asked to stay down at the bottom of the waterfall so T was very proud of himself for being one of the only ones who listened.

One of the spectacular views from up there. These few mountains are situated in a spot where they can be seen almost no matter where you go in Tucson. Absolutely Beautiful!

Another waterfall picture. I would have loved to go up there....just wouldn't have loved the 6 miles of walking involved. We are trying NOT to have baby this month!

I still find it hard to believe its the middle of winter in those pictures. The waterfall looks neat and I probably would have been pretty surprised to find water as well. Maybe after #3 is here ya'll can do it again as a family outing or something. Even if B isnt into hiking.
