Well, the movers have come. It was hectic and at times, HELLISH, but they have come and now they are gone. YAY!!!
Thursday morning was the first day the movers came. I got up to get boys ready for school. I went into their room and the first thing I noticed was, for the first time ever, T was out of bed before A. So, I told A to get a move on it. He said "My tummy hurts! I dont want to get up!" I said there wasnt a thing in this world that would keep him from getting on the bus this day so he had better get a move on. Man, this was one of those moments most moms look back on and feel sooo guilty for! My poor baby turned over and looked at me and his face was so pale and his whole being just screamed SICK KID. I checked his temp and got him securely tucked in with his daddy and sent T off to school. T was very unhappy about this, even went so far as to say A was faking so he could stay home and watch the movers. Well, the thought had crossed my mind until I had gotten a good look at him. He proved me right about 10 min before movers showed up when he vomitted all over my love seat. Yes, he did. It really sucked. We managed to get it all cleaned up in time. (man I hope it dries without issue!) So, the movers got busy and B and I wandered from room to room. We set A up with a kinder mat in the living room with his special blanket, a small pillow, and a bowl to use if he couldnt make it to bathroom. Apparently, we neglected to tell him what to do if he couldnt make it to bowl. About an hour after movers got busy on house, he vomitted all over mat, blanket, and nearby carpet. The poor kid knew mom and dad were busy so he tried to clean it up himself. He put his mat in the kitchen, his blankie downstairs, and he didnt stop the mover from covering the spot on the rug with a box. Yeah that was nasty. We finally got all that cleaned up and decided it was within everyone's best interest if one of us stayed right next to A from that point on. He had 2 more incidents and then fell asleep. You know your kid is very ill if he falls asleep in the middle of a living room that is being packed out and sleeps as soundly as if it was the middle of the night. (especially when he is normally a light sleeper) He slept for 1 1/2 hours and not long after he woke up, fell back asleep for another hour or so. When he woke up from that, he felt much better and we were able to start feeding him little bits at a time. He had a rough day but he finally got better and THANK GOODNESS no one else seemed to catch the bug! (knock on wood!) The movers did well, they didnt take much that they werent supposed to, they respected the Do Not Enter signs and we were well pleased. Now if I could just get motivated to work on this house!

Moves are NEVER allowed to go without a hitch, fingers crossed yours are all in the past now. As for the motivation issue, Ive lacked it for the past few days so I have no advice on the issue.
UGH I'm sooo not looking forward to it! Our movers come in seven days!!! I'm still running around trying to get things I dont want them to pack put somewhere else, etc, etc. It just needs to be over with!!!
I hope A is feeling a lot better now, that was such bad timing! Poor guy!
