Nick's 2 month Checkup

So I took N to his checkup and to get shots on Friday. The doc said he is way underweight. She said most other docs would admit him to the hospital for his size but she would like to try to avoid that. Normal weight gain for a newborn is an ounce a day. He has gained 14 ounces altogether and should have gained 56-60. Yuck! I am not totally worried since we had alot of doctors freak out over A's size and he is fine. I will let this doc do what I'm sure she is required to do with all undersized babies. I was instructed to start feeding him a bottle of formula every other feeding and to make his feedings every 2 hours instead of every 3. He has another appointment scheduled for tomorrow to see if this has helped any. He is also anemic, which she gave me Poly-Vi-Sol drops for. I was anemic when I was a baby too, so this doesn't shock me either. Hopefully, tomorrow she will tell me things are fine and there is an easy solution to this.
