The Follow-Up

On Monday, I took N back to doctor to get his weight checked again. We were all a bit nervous that he would be the same weight, since he didn't appear to have grown any. No need to worry, he gained 8 ounces! That was enough to satisfy the doc and she told me to just keep doing the same thing with formula and breastmilk and she made us an appointment for Friday to check him again. She said as long as he keeps steady gaining we shouldn't have any issues with him being a little small. He weighed in at 8 pounds 6 ounces on Monday and I'm curious to see his weight on Friday. He appears to be getting a bit pudgy in the cheeks and belly!
