Okay, so this last week has sucked. Lets start with this hormone they have me on. I have to say it brings a new meaning to the words "side effects". If I'm not knocked out by it, I'm ready to vomit at the slightest provocation. When it is kicking in, I feel like I just got off of round 15 on a Tilt A Whirl ride...UUGGHHH! Above all, what is with the easy flowing tears??? I have never cried so easily in all my life! I cry over most songs on the radio, most sad sitcoms, my kids being sick, and even some silly things the kids say. It's absolutely obnoxious! When I'm not crying I'm yelling at my husband because he put my spaghetti meat next to the noodles instead of on top of them....(yes, I am terribly ashamed of that particular outburst) Somebody needs to put the brakes on this rollercoaster and I can't seem to find them.... Thankfully, I have such a wonderful husband that most of the petty things I have exploded over, he has forgiven within a few hours and life goes on as usual until next outburst.
My children have the most wonderful timing in the world. In the midst of all this crying, sleeping, and yelling fun that we are having....A came home from school with a headache and an earache on Friday. By 4, he had a raging temperature and was beside himself in pain. Poor kid. So I treated it at home for most part until Saturday afternoon when temp went up past 103. With A, we have learned not to let it run it's course at that point because not only is it almost a guaranteed ear infection, but it has been known to spike past 105. We are not comfortable with that temperature at home, so we try to let a doc see him before we get there. So, he does have an ear infection. I babied him and snuggled him all weekend and he was finally able to head back to school on Tuesday. So, I spent Tuesday thanking my lucky stars that T hadn't gotten sick too. Man did I speak too soon! T came home from school with a raging headache and looking VERY pale Tuesday. UUGGHHH! He didn't have a temperature so we held our breaths and by this morning at 530am, he was at about 102. His has been more of a sore throat issue though so I took him for a strep test today and it was negative. So, now we just ride out the virus and hope all is well. Me on the other hand.....I would like to put in an order for two healthy kids......no more ear infections, sore throats, headaches.......Know where I can find any??? Lol!

Holy Moly! Best of luck with all that. I would hate the meds but I completely understand that you have to suffer through them. Fingers crossed you only take them for the current prescribed amount of time.
Hope T feels better soon and Im glad to hear A is doing better already.
