My Mother in Law, her husband, and I took the boys from Iowa on a road trip down to Biloxi, Mississippi to pick up B from Tech School. It was a very long, exhausting trip but we had fun anyway. It took 19 hours to get down there because I thought we should stick to the interstates which meant going out to Illinois first. It was only 16 hours return trip because we decided it wasn't worth it! We were all happy to see B again, his mom hadn't seen him in 3 years. We spent a whole day driving around the beach front and looking at all of the still very evident affects of Katrina. It was very sad for B and I cause we lived down there during his first Tech School for 10 months and that was way before that hurricane. We also went and checked out the monument that Extreme Home Makeover put up. It was pretty awesome.

The bright side of the trip was that while I was enjoying a spare moment of non chaos I was poking around at Rental Listings for Tucson and I found the house that we have now accepted and given our deposit on! It is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 2000 sq ft home. We are very happy because alot of realtors we have dealt with already have told us that it would be very difficult to find a 4 bedroom available near the base. This one is only about a 15 minute drive. We are very excited! We had a friend go and look at it and we totally trust her opinion. She says it's awesome! So, there is one less stress waiting for us when we get there!
