My 30th Birthday Party

I had started out saying to B, "Let's have a small get together and cookout. We will invite all our friends..." I had figured "all our friends" to come to around 15-20 people....Wow, I didn't realize how much our circle has expanded in last 6 months or so! Mostly by people following us from Germany, but happily with a few non military additions as well!

Wow, he's a clown! These two were the first set of our friends from Germany to arrive in Tucson after us...Copycats!

I actually did manage to blow them all out....(the cheat is that there are only 15 candles put in the shape of the number 30 on the cake!)

One of our neighbors whom we are so grateful to be friends with! (Our neighbors on the other side are just as appreciated, but unfortunately had to step out early)

We are just getting to know these two and are definitely enjoying their company :)
