Sonora Desert Museum

So, we picked the hottest day of the week to go to this museum we had heard so many good things about.  It's a museum, right?  Indoors, look at a bunch of dead things and move on, right???  Not so much.  In all that we had heard, no one had mentioned that it was outdoors.  Ugh!!!  It was 110 degrees that day!  It was HOT!!!  We were ill prepared, of course.  We didn't bring enough water and only one person was wearing shoes that were appropriate for being out in desert where there were signs everywhere warning us that we are in the wildlife's territory, not the other way around.  Several pairs of eyes watched the ground just about everywhere we stepped!
